Hey guys, What is the best flipping rod for under $100? These are just a few rods so if there are any other than these that you think are better, please feel free to voice your opinion. Thank you

I would have to recommend the Abu Garcia Vendetta and Veritas. I have fished with 2 Vendettas for 1 full season now and I absolutley love them. I feel that they are he best sub $100 rod out there. If you want to spend an extra $20 then get yourself a Veritas.

Veritas. I haven’t fished one, but they have a rep for being light & tough.

If you do your research on Ebay you can pick up a Quantum Superlite for $100 or less.  Check out simmonssportinggoods in the Ebay stores.  The St. Croix Mojo is a good rod and so is the BPS Carbon Lite.  But for the money I would go with the Quantum.  I have all three and just picked up a second Superlite and thinking about another.

live2fish95, I have a 6’6” Extreme rod, and its alright, but none of those rods would be my first choice. like the other guys have mentioned Mojos are nice rods. They come in a 7’6” pitching model, and a7’ 11” flipn’ model. Both the Abu Vendetta, and Veritas are good. I would also suggest the BPS Carbon light. I don’t own one, but they have to be decent if guys like Edwin Evers, and Stacy King use them.

I’ve got a good share of Mojos and i really like them.  Ultimately, I think it’s what fits you the best.  The carbonlites seem like a good rod.  If you live close to a BPS then it might be better to go with a BPS brand.  That way you can swap a broken rod out possibly.  I say possibly because some places aren’t as easy with warranties as they used to be, so you might want to check first.  I just hate when I go “all in” on a type of fishing gear and then something better catches my eye.tongue rolleye

A MH 7’0 mojo bass has always worked well for my friend. I know they usually run 100$ but they are good rods.
