Heard good things about Power Pro from these guys so BBK is giving you good advice. whatever braid you buy, make sure you put some mono backing on the spool before you fill it up with braid. if you don’t the braid might slip and have a tendency to really dig in deep into itself if you don’t put the backing on. I know, i got some good chatterbaits and spinnerbaits on the bottom from them snapping off on me. my fault, not the lines
there are 2 good answers right there, now some will swear by Suffix, personally i have never used either one. I’m using Stren sonic braid right now and i like that. But i don’t think you could go wrong with Power Pro, these guys know their stuff.
Power pro is the braid to have, but Its not good for every presenation. I have used P-Line halo and a fan of it ( the only p-line I like) but Im hearing really good things about seaguar InvisX Flouro. If Im using mono, I go no farther than wal mart to get Berkley Big game. You can line 6 reels for about 7 bucks.

I’m a big fan of Berkley Big game, i’ll put 10 lb on my baitcasters and not have 1 worry. that stuff is tough, not a lot of stretch and won’t break and it’s dirt cheap
Power Pro & Stren Sonic braid are both solid lines from what I’ve experienced. Strong, easy handling, you can’t go wrong with either IMO. Big Game is an awesome mono for how much it costs, although I usually shell out the extra for Trilene XL.
If you use Power Pro,it comes with Arbors you can put on the inside of the spool to keep the braid from slipping on the spool. Also read the little booklet that comes with it and notice how to spool up the braid, it is different than Mono or Floro.
