So I know I could just look it up but Id like rather ask yall about this. How excatly is the Carolina rig set up?

yep, go to you tube and you will find a video to set it up, stick-um gave you the right scoop.

So I looked up on youtube about the Carolina rig. I dont have any beads. would it be ok to use a slipshot? I got tons of those.

should be fine or a lot of fishermen don’t use any beads at all, just make sure your weights don’t smash the knot

it might take you a while to get the casting down so don’t be discouraged if at first you have casting problems. use a long rod.
