I know I haven’t posted anything in a while. Long story short, I got a promotion at work in April, and I just don’t as much time to fish, post things here, or anything else for that mater. However, I did manage to get in the boat this morning.  I’m so glad that I did, because I caught my new personal best, and I wanted to share it with you guys. I’m so fired up that I finally broke the 5lb mark with a fish that weighed 5.4lbs.

* Here are the pics if you want to check it out

Thanks guys! Q, that actually wasn’t Tipsico . I was fishing on Lake Sixteen, which is a public lake up by my house. If your ever up this way, we could hit it in my boat. I caught her off a weed line on a Blue Fleck 7” Power Worm. She put up a good fight. There was a lot of head shakes, and she jumped out of the water half way to the boat. Once I reeled here all the way in she didn’t have much fight left. I put it on the scale, took a few picks, and put it back in the water.

That is the perfect shape to a fish that size! I love em like that, a lot better than the super long ones that weigh the same :D
