Well I am close to being done, I am not a restorer and do believe that there are things that need to be completed further, but I have just finished restoring my 1985 Skeeter HP-150 Wrangler with the Johnson 140, all wiring, carpet, gauges, pumps, switches, gel coat, jack plate, hot foot, etc, etc, etc (Including engine) has been gone thru and now it is time to get this boat back to fishing a few local tournaments. Been out of fishing for around 10 years while I played with the dirt track open wing modifieds, now it is time to go back fishing. Many may say this 16-6 boat is too small, I guess when a fish tells me it is time to upgrade, I will ASAP. I have already been down the road of having a boat that I had payments till the end of time, now it is time to fish out of one that I am NOT afraid to scratch it a little and it is mine and mine only.  Sorry about the dusty pictures, wind and smoke in the air has been hell around Hillsboro lately.

They tell you 16’6” is too small ????  Too small for WHAT ??
Looks like a sweet rig with many, many more great hours of lake fun on it.

Go to it.  Great looking job. Congrats.

You planning on fishing the Skeeter owner tourney in Texas? Would be a great way to break that thing in;-)

I doubt it, not that good yet. Still learning. Everytime I think I got something down and a little confidence in it, I see and hear of something new. I need to get back to the basics and get three-four good techniques that I am confortable I can catch fish. Went to Aquilla today, caught only three VERY small bass, should have been on bass, great looking lake.

Thanks, since these pictures, we have added new 67# trolling motor instaed of the 46 that was on it. I matched the rear seat (For momma) to to the ones below. In the next week or two, I will be repainting the trailer and installing all new boards and lights. I ahev already gone thru the bearing and seals. This boat looks nice and runs just as nice, I am proud of this rig as much as I was my 07 Legend LE 21 that I could not afford!!
