So how the lions doing?

Same old story: High pick QB and no offensive line.  I don’t know what happened to Megadrop.  I’m not giving up on them though.  Stafford’s hand is injured and Best has a concussion.  So the passing AND running game is hurting.  It’s funny when they lose a couple of games everyone says “so much for the turn around.”  They are still have a winning season with a rookie QB (hasn’t played much except for this year).  Thanx for asking :(

That was a sad game to watch. I hate to break it to Bear superfans, but that wasn’t them being that good, but the Lions being that bad. If the Lions aren’t dumb & kick the ball to Hester or Stafford doesn’t throw those 2 bonehead pick 6s, that game comes down to the wire. I think the total lack of a running game is catching up with the Lions. You can have an all-star QB & WRs/TEs & eventually you’re gonna hit a wall if you can’t run the ball effectively & the Lions are bad, really bad at running it. They’re on the right track, but they need to get better on the o-line & need a consistent big back to compliment Best, because he’s not someone that should get more than 10-15 rushes a game.

The thuggery should be toned down too, but that seems to be what their coach wants, so, I’m not expecting that to change. They’ll lose their “loveable loser turned winner” status with too many more Stafford throwing a DB by the helmet after his mistake & all the other cheap shots that I’ve seen from them this year.

Edit: While on the subject of the Bears, I wish Martz & media people would quit comparing Forte to Faulk. There’s no comparison. Forte is an excellent back, but he’s not the game breaker Faulk was & while he’s a good receiving back, Marshall was a RB with WR skills. He might make some cuts similar to what Faulk could do, but Faulk was faster, quicker, pretty much betterer at everything, so just stop please. Thank you.

If the bears defense doesn’t get turnovers or hester run back kicks the bears struggle big time. other than Forte, they have no consistent offense. you concentrate on shutting down forte you have shut down over half their offense. Fans here all think it’s superbowl bound for the bears. several better teams than the Bears out there. they have an easy schedule this year besides playing the Pack. Lions are for real, So are the Niners and you still have the Saints, Cowboys and Giants to contend with.

Forte is bigger and stronger with quickness and moves. 6 of one, half dozen of the other. he is the only Bear player i really like. he can play. faulk was tough also but the Rams had some super wideouts for the defense to contend with. Bears got no receivers like what the Rams had back in Faulks day. so defenses can key on Forte more.

They lost to the BEARS.. that should say it all right there, the bears are terrible unless the defense is on.

I strongly believe what they were saying on sports center the other day, Lions had a stacked first 5 games and now their schedule is catching up to them. They predicted the lions winning one more game this season and ending with a losing record.

Defense and special teams on. other than that they suck if either has an off day

So how the lions doing?

They are in the playoffs.  I’m not saying they are going to the Super Bowl.  It just feels good to see them get into the playoffs.
