Take a few minutes and look at this rigging. Paul Elias is using this right now on Guntersville and has weighed in 29lb, 26lb, and 24lb sacks during the first 3 days of the FLW tourney going on this weekend.

Reminds me of a saltwater rig.

In some states it may be considered one lure since they are all attached to that minnow chunk of lead, but you should probably contact the DNR and ask. Here the hooks have to be within 3” of each other or the body of the lure so it would be illegal even if it was considered one lure… not to mention we can only have up to 3 hooks per lure.

I know it would be illegal in Iowa, Illinois,  Minnesota, and Wisconsin for sure.

Well Elias ended up catching 102lbs over 4 days. A 5lb average over 20 fish. im a believer in this rig…...lol
FLW commented that 9 out of the top 10 guys was using this bait to catch their fish.
I think its time BBK got busy designing one of his own to sell on here!

For those of you that think it is legal and have issues with it. I’d just say do not buy it.

There are ways to get around the legal issues such as only putting one lure on it with a hook. There are a lot of the pros using one swim-bait on a jig-head on the center wire and four jig-heads with the swim-baits glued to them with the hooks cut off those.

This rig was designed to bass fish with and to look like a school of bass. The rig still has only one hook and would be legal anywhere you want to fish it. If you can only use three lures in your state then use three and no hooks on the other two.

Is it legal in Indiana Twitch? i know here in Illinois and i’m thinking Ohio it’s not. BBK already said it was illegal in Iowa and several other states. It looks pretty neat and i’d like to try one, several different presentations, on i guess you could call it,  one lure would be coool.

When I do pick one up it’ll be for Alabama lakes mostly. Im sure ill try it out around here without all 5 hooks on the rig.

It reminds me of a spreader for perch fishing.  I can see loading that rig up with Lucky Craft lures and a big pike chomping it off.
