Hi from Illinois…just retired (semi) bought my first Jon Boat..have been fishing out of a Kayak for 5 or 6 years..
Fish for Bass, pan and trout and anything else that swims grin

Welcome to the forum!  My biggest bass is out of a kayak.  She pulled me right up into the trees! LOL.  Just got a jon boat myself.  There’s lots of good discussion here.  Just jump in.
