Here is a pic of a fish from falcon. This was from a pro/am tournament, but weekend partner caught this, 3rd cast of the morning, no net in the boat so I lipped it in the water, I was in shock as it came to the surface. We had 3 biggest stringer this day with 3 fish that went 22+

it was 12.10, The picture doesnt do it justice. you could have easily put a kitten ball in its mouth, when it was in the livewell all you could see was back, it was at least 8 - 10” wide. agreed you cant miss, but it was hard to lift over the boat, i was just having a hard time believing the size.

Even in the big TX, that’s a definite wall hanger unless you’re one of those freaks that fishes constantly for the big ones. Even for those types, that’s an impressive fish.

Awesome fish, that is a bucket list lake for me . No time or money to make that trip anytime soon. Maybe when the boys get older I will take them there.

Incredible!!!!!!!!

I don’t even catch fish that big in my dreams!!

I would like the challenge of getting that big ol pig in my livewell.

My biggest worry is that my wife (when I’m dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.

The guy I fished with who caught it has qualified and fished a year on the Elite series, His personal best was 11 lbs, he guessed this at just over 10 but I knew it was bigger, I was thinking 11+ too. He was stoked, but not too stoked, he went right back to fishing like we had nothing in the livewell.

btw, the guys who wont that tournament had 6 fish that went over 48 lbs, 3 fish @ 26 lbs on that sunday, its truly an amazing lake.
