Hi guys, slept in till 4:45 am this morning and was channel surfing. went to versus and to my suprise from 9 am to about 3 pm central time, fishing shows including the bass pros, flw, bill dance, roland, hank, jimmy. bout time
Hope everyone had a pleasant evening and no serious hangovers, me, stayed home and drank 2 beers.

sadly i can’t get the outdoor channel, i’m stuck with versus, hope they run ike’s show, city limits fishing, and it wasn’t cancelled.

NBC sports took over Versus…most of the outdoor shows are gona be taken off or greatly reduced from what your getting now

Unfortunately Ike isn’t the host of City Limits Fishing anymore. I read on Facebook that Byron Velvick is the new host.

yea, they are promoting city limits fishing, just have to see how it is with the new guy. i liked Ike though. Wonder if it was his temper that got him kicked off or he just didn’t want to do it anymore.

Byron should do a good job. He isnt like Ike but he does have his own personality. Besides, he was NBC’s Bachelor several years back. He’s groomed for TV, is pretty funny, and can fish.

Byron seems pretty quirky from what I’ve seen of him, he should be alright. And so far the NBC switchover hasn’t been a drastic change, but it’ll probably take them time to get the programming to phase out fishing. If/when they do phase it out, hopefully SMC, ODN, & WFN pick up the scraps.

I like the idea of the new show. Its kind of like the Day on the Lake format BASS has aired off and on the past few years.
