looks sorta cool, and it would be easy to make your own. Any of you guys tried a rig like this?

How shocking, Owner wanting over $3 a piece for something so incredibly simple. Looks interesting, I might have to try something like that out, although I’m not paying the Owner premium on one.

Here is mine, these should be weedless and for the most part snag proof.

1/2oz on a 4/0 gama. Thinking about $1.50 each.

I was looking at these rigs earlier while on a JDM site.  Did this rig originate in Japan?  How do you plan to fish it?  The fist thing that comes to my mind would to to crank it along the bottom with the weight just ticking the bottom.  That hula grub looks right at home on it.  Let us know how you like it!  It’s got my interest peaked.

Deep water rip rap fishing.. where a jig might walk under the rock these (with the weight I put on it) should walk right over.

The biggest weight available on the true jig rig is 3/16 so I think it was meant for finesse. I say the opposite, put a craw on it and drag deep water with the 1/2oz

Is that a drop shot weight on your rig?

the best place to fish it would be around rock dams or deep rip rap and hop it around like a jig or a T-rig.

I cant wait to rig a 6” lizard on one and drag it around in the spring. Trust me, its going to take over deep water fishing.. complete bottom contact in 20+fow with a t-rig.
