yea, when i was watching it, i thought that the water was not that rough looking, even the last wave that tossed him i didn’t think was that bad. he definitely took the wave at a bad angle. bad driver and going to fast for his driving skills. why didn’t he back off on the throttle a little when he saw that last wave?

Wind out of the north, fishermen should not venture forth
Winds out of the south, blows the bait in the fishes mouth
Winds out of the east, fish bite the least
Winds out of the west, fish bite the best

^ Ah, maybe that’s why I have never experienced chine walk.  I ride with trim most if not all the way down and with 2nd person the the boat like 99% of the time.

You can get so much more out of your boat if you raise your trim.  It will ride and steer better as well.  Start out of the hole with it down, then as the boat comes up or onto plan start trimming up.  You will feel the difference.

My biggest worry is that my wife (when I’m dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.

True, but I rarely ever fish calm water.  I’m either in some large reservoir with howling wind or some flatland reservoir with every jack-off in the state pleasure boating as it is the only body of water in the state when you can actually go faster than no-wake speed.  I do nothing but run over other boat’s wakes.
