Hey Guys,
Just wanted to get some reviews on the Berkley Split Belly Swimbait. I bought a pack and only made a few casts but there doesn’t seem to be any action to the tail. Has anyone had any luck with these?
Thanks

the money minnows arent bad, but I like shadalicious swimbaits. they have much better action if they are on a jighead, so maybe give that a shot with your berkley split belly swimbaits.

I fish my swimbaits on a jig head also. Just be carefull around cover…...........they like to reach out and grab it.

Yep. Lost a jighead last week when I got a bit closer than I wanted to a tree in the water. I use Shadalicious, Hollow Bellies, & Cabela’s Flatire swimbaits & they all have excellent action on a jighead. When I’m throwing them t-rigged on a weighted hook, then I really prefer the Shadalicious, as I found them to work the best in the water & offer better hook-sets as well.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I’ll get rid of the Berkley baits and go with the Yum Money Minnow. If I ever get some decent weather around here I’ll try them out.

Planning on making a trip to Cabelas to get the Money Minnows and then the lake on Sunday. We’ll see what happens.

Zoom Swimmin Super Flukes have good swimming action, especially rigged weightless.
