Its all now in the trash can. Didn’t fish for a week. My rods were in the house nice and dry. I sprayed them with the kvd lure and line conditioner when I put the away. When I went fishing Thursday they had so much memory it drove me nuts. So I stripped 3 rods and lined one with pline and the other two with 65# stealth braid.

Wow I am surprised that that happened to you. I love seaguar fluoro. Invisix ,for me, has almost no memory. Same goes for the Abrazix in the lower than 15lb tests. Anything higher has a little bit of memory but nothing to that of the BPS XPS that I swear I will never buy again.

Maybe I should try a lighter line then. I think this was either 17 or 15.

I’m with you LilJakeC, I have 12lb Invisix on my cranking rods, and it’s smooth as silk. I think the stuff is great.

I have yet to use the Invizx but I have recently switched my line to the Seaguar Red Label fluorocarbon and the stuff throws great.  I could launch my 3/8oz spinnerbaits with little effort when I needed to get them into the back corners of a bay when the water was really low, to low for a boat.  Stuff is strong as nails too.  Convinced my buddy to switch from all mono to some fluorocarbon.  He likes it a lot.

what i find funny is that i still have 12# on my mojo set up with a quantum code red and it works just fine. used it today as a matter of fact. Not a single issue. But set up on my quantum escalades it was a nightmare. BUT i think those were either 15 or 17 pound test.

Been using Seguar InvizX on Shimano reels for some time now and I’m very happy with this line.

unless you are fishing crystal clear water, and i still don’t know if it matters much, use braid. imo fluoro is pretty much a waste of money. they say no stretch but it stretches about as much as mono but not as much as a good copolymer in my experiences. i’m throwing braid in clear water and still catching fish.

I use 17 lbs Seagar Invisix also.  I spooled my rods a couple of months ago.  I work away from home so my rods sit for a month at a time.  I just used my rods the other day and had absolutely no problem with them.

I friend turned me on to Seaguar Red Label two years ago and I’ve never looked back. I use 12#, 15#, and 20#, depending on the application. True Fluorocarbon for almost half the price of other fluorocarbon brands.
