Spent the day on the little municipal lake near my house today.  Fished from about 10am until 4:30pm and caught 12 bass: three 4lb’rs, four 3 lb’rs, three 2 lb’rs and a couple of smaller guys…

All but one were caught on a KVD Sexy Frog…what a blast.  This lake is my usual haunt and I’ve been worried that the weeds were going to shut down the lake (they’re about 2 months ahead of their usual height because of the early spring) but it turns out they’ve just turned on one of my favorite baits (the other being a buzzbait).

They were just slamming it, only missed a few and lost one at the boat…

That sounds like an awsome frog day! I had the chance to get out today as well.  I spent 12 1/2 hours in my boat today. It was great . My brother meet up with me after he go out of work, and had a blast. we didn’t catcht anything huge, but we caught a lot of bass.

I’ve been fishing the frog a little myself. The water is getting “right” for some awesome grass bites.
Glad you put a whoopin’ on them with that sexy frog. I havent used one yet.

Nice! I cant wait to throw out some frogs this year. Its just about time to tie one on.
