So…..in a little over a week, I start out on my dream trip....fishing for 13 straight days. 5 different bodies of water, all considered world class lakes in my book (and many others).
Here is my itinerary:
Day 1-6….Lake of The Woods , just south of Kenora Ontario Canada. Muskies, Walleye and BIG pike.
Day 7-8…..Rainy Lake on the US/Canada border. Great smallmouth fishery (and nice walleyes too).
Day 9-13…... 3 different lakes (or chains of lakes) in and near Eagle River , Wisconsin. More Muskies, and some spectacular smallmouth.
I am like a little kid at Christmas. The wife says “go and have fun”, and so I am off. Fishing with great friends each step of the way, making it even better. ( 7 of them on the Lake of the Woods trip !!!)
