Time to go get some panfish

I sat down at the fly-tying bench this morning to make some panfish lures.

Most of these are on 1/64oz jig heads.  They should be effective for bluegills, redears, and even some crappie.

Nice! I’ve been hammering the big gills with a caddisfly like dry fly. 4’8 micro light with 3lb ice line. Twitch that thing above their beds and its lights out. Been keeping 8-12 big bulls for dinner and throwing the females back. If you have some clear water, its time to break out the fly rod.

Maybe an ant or a chernobyl ant.  they work pretty good for me.
