My 6 year old caught a short little bass on a senko today. It was kinda funny, as the fish got into the moss he started yelling its to hard to reel. So we had to help him. We left the camera at home, so needless to say no pic’s.

Thats bass #2 on artifical bait, 1 on a beattle spin and now a senko.

Congrats to your little boy sounds like he is getting the hang of fishing with artificial baits, good teacher I bet.  Proud moment for you both.

Great bait for kids to catch fish on.  I give my daughter who is 13 a Senko on a #6 circle hook and she has not lost a fish yet.  Keep him out fishing.
