So much sweet corn & soo good. My nephew is marrying the daughter of a farmer who’s known all around for great sweet corn, so it’s gotten for cheap & it’s awesome, best sweet corn you can get anywhere. Got a bunch cleaned to freeze tomorrow when the temps are supposed to drop, along with a good size basket left on the cob, which my brother is gonna take a chunk of. Have to see how many bags we come up with for the freezer, might have to go back for more if the vultures start circling & picking.

It’s going for $6 a dozen at stands & in the grocery stores here. We got this for a cheap by the 5 gallon bucket rate(this is supposedly their less than prime corn, which is still better than 99.9999% of corn I’ve ever bought anywhere), which I think had in between 18-24 ears per bucket, depending on how full you wanted to fill it.

Field of Dreams, Jake. gotta be better than this hell hole called Chicago. I’d be happy to just go back home to Ohio.
