I thought this would be a cool topic. What would you say is your favorite color for soft baits?

I would have to say mine is green pumpkin. It can look like anything to the fish. You could throw a GP worm and have it look like a green worm (found in the dirt around water), you can throw a GP fluke and have it look like a bluegill. You can throw a GP flippin bait or jig and have it look like a craw.. Anything in GP mimics something in the water.

I voted GP but I don’t have an all time favorite color. I use a bunch of colors but for the most part the colors that I use are either GP, black/blue, watermelon red flake, or Junebug with the occasional brown or white. For just about every plastic though I have multiple packs of it in green pumpkin. The color just simply works. One thing I do differently though is that I like to make my GP a little different than most others. In my senkos, I like my GP to be more brown than others. I also like to put different colors of flake or hi-lites in them. I have had lots of luck lately using a GP purple and green flake senko wacky rigged over scattered weeds.

Mine has to be yellow with one claw red and the other blue…heard it was dynamite! wink But if I can’t throw that, it would have to be black. Black works in any water clarity from clear to muddy and creates a great silhouette.

Green Pumpkin is probably my go to. Works well in all conditions from my perspective & I have a ton of confidence in it.

Of the colors listed I voted Smoke.  My favorite Senko is Natural Shad which is sort of a smoke color.  I also like GP and another one not listed - Red Shad.

I use a lot of the smoke colors for trailers.  Kalin’s cotton candy is my favorite.  I’d really like to fish Senkos and Flukes more.  I’d like to try to get the smallies in the river to bite on something different.

Pumpkinseed is always good, but what a difficult choice.  Red Shad is my go to senko color.
Plus some lakes around here (even lakes within a few miles of each other) require a different color to produce.
I also really like Motor Oil and Black and Blue.

My biggest worry is that my wife (when I’m dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.
