What are your favorites? And when do you like to use them?

Buddy bought me a pack of storm wild eye shads and I love them… They’re very versatile and you can cover a lot of water. I’m new to them if you couldn’t tell lol.

Should probably mention I was referring to soft prerigged swimbaits.

I use a 5” Basstrix rigged on a leadhead jig. Ill use them around docks and grass mostly.

I use customs, the shad body style. Also rigged on a jig head.

When I do throw a Swimbait (which isn’t often) I like the Shadalicous in the 3” or 4” size. I usually throw it in and around weeds or weed edges rigged on a 3/0 or 4/0 weighted EWG swimbait hook.

I have been using the Skinny Dipper from Reaction Innovations rigged on a J-Will swimbait jig from Buckeye Lures.  That combination has been pretty good for me this year.  I also like the 5” Basstirx rigged on a jig head.

For pre-rigged set ups I have some Matt Lures - http://www.mattlures.com/products.htm  They are rather expensive but they do work.

Most of the time I use the ones I rig myself like the Shadalicious 4 and 5 inch ones.  Usually rig them on weighted 4/0 or 5/0 swimbait hook (like gammys).
