2007 Bassmaster Classic
The 37th Annual Classic comes home to Alabama, the birth place of the event. Kevin is prepared after the off season for the biggest event of the year.
KVD gives it his all on day 3
“I’ve never fished as fast during the final day of the Classic than I did today…I fished my guts out all day long. I have absolutely nothing left in the gas tank. I mean I’m all done after today.” – KVD after the final weigh in
KVD finishes 07 Classic at #3
Another great finish for KVD in the biggest event of the year. Kevin was the last to be weighed in and fell just short. The good news? The season is young, and this is the launch of a whole new look and start for KVD this year. Full report coming from the team in Alabama soon. Go KVD!
Anglers are at the Arena. Too close to call
The unofficial weights are too close to call, KVD is still in the lead by the narrowest of margains it looks like, but the final weigh ins will tell all. KVD, Skeet Reese and Gary Klein are all in the chase for the top spot. Several anglers haven’t been heard from so there could be more in the mix. Stay tuned…
Report from team KVD in Alabama 1:30 CST
1.5 hours left in the Classic and Kevin is holding on to the #1 spot, he just up-ed his daily total to 12-7. Stay tuned…
KVD reaches 5 fish limit by 9 AM, Day 3
Early reports are that KVD is pouring it on during day 3 with a 5 fish limit by 9AM. Unofficial word is that KVD has an 11 pound Limit at 10 AM Alabama time on day 3. While we’ll have to wait to see for sure at the weigh in, things are looking good on Lay Lake this day for KVD.
KVD storms into the lead
Day 2 was huge for Kevin, moving from 19th place all the way to #1. Kevin leads the pack of 25 anglers into the final day. More information coming in from Alabama soon…
